Hello you lovely helpful people... I am hoping to attract the attention of any personal trainers, nutritionist, sport scientist, athletes - or anyone else out there who has a tried and tested method to get results - I hate to say it but - FAST....

I know I know, everyone asks the same questions and I used to look and laugh... it s easy, eat less and exercise more... but I didn t see what the hurry was for all these people?! Impatience? I knew I was eating too much, overworking myself to exhaustion, no time for exercise and binge eating carbs and chocolate etc to boost my mood and keep me from depression :-( I have been completely in denial about the fact that my own body shape has taken a severe turn for the worse. I had wanted to lose weight to improve self confidence and instead, stressful living and working conditions, illness and emotional issues have caused me to comfort eat and actually gain weight. so much FAT on my tummy, and face, and well... everywhere :-(

I am around 5ft 2 or 3 inches and I weigh just under 11 stones now... I am lucky, in that my weight is quite well distributed, and I still have somewhat of a figure (hourglass) but I am really not in great shape for a twenty year old.

I need serious help. I know how to eat healthily, but am vegetarian and so anyone giving diet advice please take that into consideration. I will however eat fish!! Like I said I used to laugh when I saw people trying to lose huge amounts in short time periods, and whilst I understand the importance of healthy weight loss etc etc. I discovered yesterday that something is coming up that I simply MUST look my best for... yes I want to be a size 8 longer term, because with my height and frame I should be!!! But I am willing to be realistic. I have 7 weeks exactly people, and like I said am willing to do whatever it takes.

This past week I have cut coffee, black teas, dairy, and gluten out of my diet almost entirely, sweetened things minimally, eaten salad, veg, fruit, nuts, seeds, fish and eggs. I have dratically reduced portion sizes and have been trying to drink more water, although some has been hot water with fresh lemon and or ginger.

I have a gym membership which I have not had time to use, but finally leaving one of my jobs (Has been 60 hrs a week on top of my 25hr pw admin job!) and I seriously intend to utilise it. Considering maybe going to top personal training duo: Paul Ellis and Tim Stockwell... but that wil cost me 1400 for 3 90min sessions per week. Is it necessary?? Cause I simply NEED to see results by mid April people... please please please help me out. I would be like the dream client for a dietitian/personal trainer right now as I am so so so determined to do this... just need some tip top guidance.

Someone recommended HCG spray??

I just need a serious regime, and a way to boost metabolism and eat a minimum number of calories whilst still making sure to get all the nutrition that my body will need to get me through intense exercise.I really am seriously dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes to lose as much weight as possible in these 7 weeks (and beyond!!) :-))))

The most important thing to remember is that to lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume. You say that you have a Gym membership but have not had time to use it... Consider that you need to MAKE time to exercise if you are serious about losing weight.

Let me say, losing 50 lbs in less than 2 months is VERY unhealthy, and it is an unrealistic goal.

My recommendation is to do jogging (or brisk walking) for 20 or more minutes a day 4-5 days a week. If you currently do not work out regularly, this will give you a great start. You want to feel the burn in your legs, push yourself... If you maintain this, start to step up the duration of your walking. It is important to remember not to EVER skip this routine, it needs to be constant. Walking/jogging/running will help you burn calories and improve your metabolism.
Eat less than you normally do, but make sure you eat enough to satisfy yourself. Incorporate treats for yourself into your diet too... for example: if you love chocolate and eat it all of the time, remove it from your regular diet but still treat yourself... you want to avoid having intense cravings that cause you to binge eat.

For starters, stay away from the hcg spray. There is little to no hcg hormone in 99.9% of this stuff.
It was just announced as illegal and fraudulent in the States.

Bottom line is I did the calculations and I think there about 1700 calories in a kilo?
No pill is going to make you lose any weight. It is all hype.
You can do it IF, you stick to a diet of 1200 healthy calories per day and exercise hard for one and one half hours per day. Take one day a week off and just do a 30 minute brisk walk to stretch out.
Two kilos per week and you will just make it.
Lots of water with a bit of lemon, occasionally a shot of orange juice.
Green tea is fine and is a good antioxidant. Helps boost the metabolism.
Search foods that increase metabolism and eat those within your 1200 calorie limit. Do not eat less than 1200 or your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to fat.
